2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition Ceramic Coating In Kenner, LA | Complete Interior and Exterior Protection

A Tundra worth protecting

The 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition has a presence that does not need much help. Its broad stance, sculpted bodywork, substantial chrome detailing, and distinctive lighting give it the kind of road presence expected from a full-size truck. On a dark finish like this one, however, the quality of the surface becomes especially important. Every reflection, contour, and trim piece is easy to see, which also means imperfections are difficult to hide.

For this Tundra, the goal was not simply to make an already impressive truck look clean. The work was centered around refining the finish and then protecting as many of its major surfaces as possible. The result was a comprehensive Level 3 ceramic coating package paired with a Level 2 paint correction.

Bringing Clarity Back to the Paint

The paint correction was an important part of the project because ceramic coating performs best when it is applied over a properly refined surface. The Tundra received a Level 2 paint correction to improve the clarity and consistency of the finish before protection was applied.

That preparation is particularly noticeable across the hood, fenders, doors, and large side panels. The dark paint now carries clean, uninterrupted reflections, allowing the body lines to stand out rather than being distracted by minor surface imperfections. In direct sunlight, the finish has a deeper, more defined appearance, while surrounding reflections remain crisp across the panels.

The large hood is a good example of why correction matters on a truck of this size. Its broad surface catches a tremendous amount of light, making the quality of the paint easy to judge. Once refined, that surface becomes almost mirror-like, reflecting the surrounding environment with considerably more definition.

Protection Beyond the Paint

The Level 3 ceramic coating package extended well beyond the painted exterior. Paint received the primary attention, but the package also included the wheel faces, plastics, glass, and leather seats.

The wheel faces are an especially practical area to protect on a truck like the Tundra. The 1794 Edition wheels feature a detailed design with numerous surfaces that can collect road grime and brake dust. Coating the faces provides a protective layer over those finished surfaces and helps make routine cleaning less demanding

Exterior plastics and other exterior details were also included, giving the darker trim pieces a layer of protection while helping them maintain their finished appearance. The truck has a substantial amount of contrasting trim around the wheel arches, lower body, grille, and other exterior details, so preserving those areas contributes to the overall consistency of the vehicle.

The polished exhaust outlet is another small detail that complements the overall finish. On a vehicle this large, the quality of the smaller components can make a noticeable difference when the truck is viewed up close.

Glass protection adds another functional element to the package. Clean, well-protected glass complements the clarity of the paint while helping maintain a more refined appearance during everyday driving.

Attention to the Details Inside

The protection did not stop at the exterior. The leather seats were also treated as part of the Level 3 package.

Inside, the 1794 Edition has a distinctly upscale character, with rich brown leather, contrast stitching, metallic accents, and carefully finished controls. The steering wheel, center console, and surrounding materials reinforce that this is a truck designed to feel just as substantial from behind the wheel as it does from the outside.

Protecting the leather helps preserve the condition of those surfaces as they experience regular contact and use. It is a subtle part of the overall package, but it reflects the larger philosophy behind the work: protection should extend to the areas that matter throughout ownership, not just the panels that are easiest to see from the curb.

A Finish That Fits the Truck

There is something particularly satisfying about seeing the completed Tundra from a distance after all of the individual details have been addressed. The large chrome grille and mirror caps provide sharp contrast against the dark bodywork. The LED lighting adds another layer of precision to the front end, while the substantial wheels give the truck a planted stance.

Up close, the smaller details tell the same story. The 1794 Edition emblem, polished exhaust outlet, steering wheel, leather surfaces, and carefully finished trim all contribute to the character of the truck. Nothing feels isolated from the rest of the vehicle.

The Level 2 paint correction established the visual foundation. The Level 3 ceramic coating then added protection across the paint and other selected surfaces, creating a more complete approach to preserving the Tundra's condition.

For a truck that is likely to see plenty of road time, that combination makes sense. The objective was not to change what makes the 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition distinctive. It was to refine those qualities and give them a better chance of staying that way.

With the paint clarified, the wheel faces and exterior surfaces protected, the glass treated, and the leather cared for, this Tundra leaves the shop with its presentation matching the character of the 1794 Edition. It is the kind of finish that should continue to reward careful ownership long after the initial detail is complete.
